With a background in photography, music and action sports dating back to the 90’s, my transition into motion capture was a natural progression. starting with film photography back in high school, I captured images of skateboarding and music subculture. This eventually led to shooting videos with a Hi8 camera and editing footage with two VCR’s and a DJ mixer for sound design. As the age of digital imagery began, I found an even greater love for the technical aspects of capture, color and movement. from point and shoot film cameras to DSLR’s to Mirrorless, to professional digital cinema cameras, the progression in technology has always fueled my passion for the creative process. After years of shooting, editing and color grading family videos, travel videos, spec ads and commissioned work, it eventually led to start of small audience media, named lovingly after my son, sam.

Throughout all my creative endeavors I’ve always had a fond appreciation for the humble beginnings of a Small Audience.
